With the general search function, you can quickly find artists, contacts, bookings, and invoices. Open the search function via the magnifying glass in the top right corner or with ⌘K on Mac and Ctrl+K on Windows. You can directly open a result, continue searching for an artist, or go to the full search page.
The search function is separate from the filters on the page you are currently working on. For example, you can immediately look up a contact, booking, or invoice from the schedule.
General search
Type a name or number in the search window. As you type, the most relevant results appear. The results are categorized into Artists, Contacts, Bookings, and Invoices.
This quick search function searches for the following data:
- Artists: the artist's name.
- Contacts: the name of a person or company.
- Bookings: the booking name, event name, location or place, and client, purchase, or contract number.
- Invoices: the invoice number.
Click on a result to open it. For an artist, you can also use the small shortcuts to go directly to that artist's Dashboard or Year overview.
Recent searches and all results
When you open the window without search text, you will see your recent searches. Artwin Live stores a maximum of five searches in your current browser. Click on a previous entry to reuse it.
Don't see the desired result in the short list? Choose Search at the bottom. This will open the search page with all results for your query.
Searching for bookings of one artist
If you only want to search within the bookings of a specific artist, first select that artist. This can be done in two ways:
- Type @ followed by the artist's name, for example @Artist Name, and choose the right artist from the suggestions.
- Search for the artist, select them with the arrow keys, and press Tab.
The artist then appears as a selection in the search box. You are now only searching in the non-cancelled bookings of that artist. Type a booking name, event name, location or place to refine the list. In a text search, Artwin Live shows the recent bookings; type a date when looking for a specific day.
If you leave the search box empty while an artist is selected, Artwin Live will show the recently modified bookings of that artist. Use the cross next to the artist selection or Backspace in an empty search box to remove the selection and return to general search.
Search by date
After you have selected an artist, you can type a date to find bookings on exactly that day. You can enter a date compactly, with delimiters, or as a relative date. For example:
- 1610 for October 16 in the current year.
- 16102026 for October 16, 2026.
- 16-10-2026, 16/10/2026 or 16.10.2026.
- 2026-10-16, 2026/10/16 or 2026.10.16.
- today or tomorrow.
A year with two digits is also possible, for example 16-10-26. The compact notation follows the date order of your language setting; in a Dutch environment, that is day-month.
Working with the keyboard
- ⌘K / Ctrl+K: open the search function.
- Down arrow and up arrow: scroll through the results. The selection moves from the last to the first result and vice versa.
- Enter: open the selected result. For a recent search, that entry will be filled in again; for the Search option, Enter opens the full search page.
- Tab: make the selected artist an artist filter and continue searching in their bookings.
- Backspace: remove a selected artist when the search box is otherwise empty.
- Esc: close the search window.
