Account

Secure your account with 2FA

With two-factor authentication (2FA), you add an extra layer of security to your Artwin Live account. After entering your password, you confirm the login with a six-digit code from an authentication app.

Where do you set up 2FA?

Go to your User Settings and open 2FA / Security. Here you can see if 2FA is enabled on your account and you can turn this feature on or off.

Enable 2FA

Click on Enable with authentication app. Then open an authentication app, such as Google Authenticator, Apple Passwords, or 1Password.

  • Scan the QR code with your authentication app.
  • Can't scan the QR code? Add the account manually using the key that Artwin Live shows.
  • Enter the six-digit code from your authentication app.
  • Click on Verify and enable.

After a successful verification, 2FA is active. The next time you log in, first enter your password and then the current code from your authentication app.

Disable 2FA

Go back to User Settings → 2FA / Security and click on Disable 2FA. Enter your current password and confirm with Disable 2FA. The extra login check will then be removed immediately.

Good to know

Keep your authentication app safe. You need this to generate the login code. Never share the QR code or manual key with anyone else.

Update the mobile app. Logging in with 2FA requires version 1.2 or higher of the mobile Artwin Live app. Older versions may not be able to log in when 2FA is enabled.
