With Insights in Artwin Live, you gain a clear picture of your agency's performance. You can see how many bookings have been confirmed, how your revenue and margins are developing, and how the results compare to previous years.
You can view the numbers by artist, agent, or period. This way, you discover where your revenue comes from, which artists perform best, and how your bookings develop throughout the year.
What can you see in Insights?
The Overview tab provides insight into six key figures:
- Confirmed: the number of confirmed bookings.
- Avg. time to confirmation: how many days, on average, there are between creating and confirming a booking.
- Avg. margin per booking: the average margin you achieve per confirmed booking.
- Purchase: the total purchase value of your bookings.
- Sales: the total sales value of your bookings.
- Margin: the difference between sales and purchase.
At the top of the page, these figures are displayed in clear cards. You can immediately see how the results compare to the same period last year.
Click on a card to view the corresponding data in the graph and table.
Select the period you want to analyze
Year
View the development of your bookings, revenue, and margins over a full year. The results are displayed per month and compared with the previous year.
Month
Zoom in on a specific month and view the results per day. For example, you can compare the performance of a busy summer month with the same month last year.
Period
Select your own start and end date. Convenient when you want to analyze, for example, a festival season, quarter, or other specific period.
Performance date or Confirmation date
In the year and month view, you can choose between two ways to view your results.
Performance date
With Performance date, you see the results based on the date on which a performance takes place.
This provides insight into the distribution of your bookings and margins over the year.
For example, you can see which months have the most bookings, during which period you achieve the highest revenue, how this year's margins compare to last year's, and which months still offer room for extra bookings.
The graph compares the selected period with the same period last year.
When viewing the margin, Potential options can also be displayed. This is the potential margin of future bookings that are still options.
This potential margin is shown separately and does not count towards the confirmed margin.
Confirmation date
With Confirmation date, you see when bookings have actually been confirmed.
This gives you insight into the development of your bookings throughout the year.
Suppose you want to know how bookings for 2027 are developing. You can then check how much margin for performances in 2027 has already been secured and how that compares to the bookings you confirmed at the same time last year for 2026.
The graph shows the cumulative development. Each new confirmation is added to the total.
In the metric Margin, you can also view additional information.
- Cumulative margin: how much margin has been confirmed to a certain point.
- Margin added: how much new margin has been confirmed in a specific month.
- Forecast: an indication of the expected development for the rest of the current year.
- Cumulative with options: the confirmed margin supplemented with the potential margin of future options.
The forecast is calculated based on the results from last year and the development of the current year. It is an indication, not a guaranteed expectation.
With this display, you can evaluate whether you are ahead or behind compared to last year for the upcoming season.
View results by agent or artist
Under the graph, you'll find a table where you can further break down the results.
Agent
View the results per agent. You can see how many bookings each agent has confirmed and the corresponding revenue or margin.
This helps you compare performance within your team.
Artist
View the results per artist. This way, you discover which artists have the most bookings, generate the highest revenue, or contribute the most to your margin.
Zoom in further on results
You can click on an agent or artist to explore the results further.
If you select an agent, you will see how their results are distributed across different artists.
If you select an artist, you will see which agents are responsible for the corresponding bookings.
In this detailed view, you can view all six key figures per period.
This allows you to easily shift from the overall overview to the performance of a specific artist or agent.
Filter results
With the filter panel, you can determine which bookings are included in your overview.
- Assigned to: view only the bookings from a specific agent.
- Artist: view the results of a specific exclusive artist.
- Year of performance: select the year in which the performances take place under Confirmation date.
- BUMA display: determine whether BUMA is included in the calculations of purchase, sales, and margin.
You can combine multiple filters.
This way, you can view how much margin a specific agent has confirmed for a specific artist in the upcoming year.
With the X next to the filter icon, you can clear the filters and return to the default overview.
Compare your results with last year
An important aspect of Insights is comparing your performance to previous years.
The cards at the top display not only the current results but also the development compared to last year.
In the year view, the timing of your comparison is taken into account.
For example, if you check the results of this year on October 13th, these are compared to the status on October 13th last year. Additionally, you will see the final result of the entire previous year.
This allows you to better assess whether you are ahead or behind, without comparing a partial year with a full year.
View bookings behind the numbers
Do you want to know which bookings contribute to a certain result?
From the table, you can click through to the corresponding Margin list.
Here you will find the individual bookings that contribute to the result. This way, you can easily check how a total is composed.
Export report
With Export report, you can export the selected results.
The report takes into account the chosen period, date display, and active filters.
This way, you can create a report of the results of a specific artist, the performance of an agent, or the development of your margins throughout the year.
Good to know
- Only confirmed bookings count. Insights uses confirmed, non-cancelled bookings. Self-bookings and artists excluded from margins are not included.
- Options are displayed separately. The potential margin from options is not added to the confirmed margin.
- The data is periodically updated. Insights is normally updated every five minutes. A change in a booking may therefore be visible slightly later.
- BUMA influences the amounts. You can choose whether BUMA is included in the calculations. Use the same setting when comparing results with each other.
- Forecasts are indicative. The expected development is calculated based on previous results and current progress. Actual results may differ from this.
With Insights, you not only have insight into what your agency has achieved, but also into how your bookings are developing and where opportunities lie for the upcoming period.
